Dr. Kim was born in Charlotte, NC. She is the seventh of eight children, and she grew up just outside of Youngstown, Ohio. In 1987, she graduated high school with honors from Niles McKinley. She received her Bachelor of Science degree with a pre-med emphasis in May of 1992 at Youngstown State University.
Her first daughter, Brittany, was born in August of 1992, in Ohio before relocating to Rockford, Illinois. Bethany, her second child was born in July of 1995. In 1997, Brianna was born. In 1999, Benjamin her fourth child was born at home and Brooklynn was born in 2001, also at home.
Shortly after the birth of her third daughter, Brianna she became extremely ill.
After a long and disheartening experience with "traditional medicine", our faith led us to Dr. Jim Warner, a local chiropractor. In a matter of visits, he was able to turn her entire clinical picture around. This began her family's journey into alternative medicine. Today, Dr. Kim's passion is to return the gift that was given to her family in 1998.
Dr. Williams returned to school in August 2003 at National University of Health Sciences. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine in December 2006. During that time, she also received specialized training in acupuncture, botanical medicines, and women's health. Dr. Kim received an advanced proficiency rating from Activator Methods Inc. In October 2005. She became certified in Family Practice in November 2008. Dr. Williams is completed her Diplomate from the American Board of Chiropractic Internists in 2019. She completed her master's at Midwest College of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine in 2024 with a second bachelor's in nutrition and is working toward her second Doctorate in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine.
Dr. Williams is an avid and committed lifelong learner.
Today Dr. Williams practices in Rockford. She married on February 26, 2016, to her life partner Doug and along with their 8 children blended family share their passion for health and wellness!
So from our family to yours, we welcome you to Rockford Wellness Collective.

I practice a boutique medicine model. The usual face-to-face time with a provider is often limited to 15 minutes or less. These short visits have taken a toll on both providers and their patients. For that reason, I have made the move to boutique medicine. The foundation is a trusting provider-patient relationship built over time, with a solid commitment to being fully present and attentive to patient concerns. My patients enjoy enhanced access, longer appointments, and highly customized patient care.
