Dr. Kim Williams is a double board-certified chiropractic physician and acupuncturist with a deep passion for integrative, patient-centered care. Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, and raised in Ohio, she graduated with honors from Niles McKinley High School and earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a pre-med concentration from Youngstown State University in 1992.
Her personal journey into holistic medicine began after the birth of her third daughter, when a serious illness and a frustrating experience with conventional healthcare led her to seek alternative care. Under the guidance of a local chiropractor, she experienced a remarkable turnaround that inspired her to pursue a career in natural medicine.
Dr. Williams earned her Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from National University of Health Sciences in 2006, where she also completed advanced training in acupuncture, botanical medicine, women’s health, and earned an advanced proficiency rating in Activator Methods. She became certified in Family Practice in 2008 and completed her Diplomate from the American Board of Chiropractic Internists in 2019.
In 2024, she received her Master’s in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine from Midwest College of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, along with a second bachelor’s degree in Nutrition. She is currently pursuing her second doctorate in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine.
A lifelong learner and devoted practitioner, Dr. Williams serves the Rockford community with a focus on restoring balance and optimizing wellness. She and her husband, Doug, were married in 2016 and share a blended family of eight children. Together, they are committed to creating a welcoming, healing environment through Rockford Wellness Collective.
